#BlueJays related tweets report that Adam Lind has been placed on outright waivers just days after announcing he’d be sent down to AAA Vegas for a couple of weeks to clear his head and regain confidence. He was scheduled to start playing with the 51s on Sunday.

Shi Davidi of SportsNet says that Adam doesn’t even know that he’s been outrighted, which is nothing short of horrible if the Jays/AA profess to make the team one that players will want to play for, one of loyalty, etc etc etc. Is this the same team that’s shown so much patience (and contract extension) to longtime DL listed Dustin McGowan going to treat life-long Jay Adam Lind so shoddily?
