Utterly THRILLED to get my #BlueJays season tickets package today and what a lovely haul it is!
This year, the goodies come in a handy storage box with a silver embossed logo on top, which I’m pretty sure will fit nicely into a niche in my Expedit desk.
The tickets themselves are bound in a sweet book, and the photos are amazing. Pulling them apart and making little piles of goodness is reserved for the night before opener in lieu of sleep LOL.
Big surprise was the bonus BlueJays cap, with the home opener ticket attached like a tag! Jays already sent us genuine home jerseys before Christmas, so this extra bit of outfit is totes gravy.
Other goodies include a $100 gift card (which also gets you 20% at the Jays shop all year), pocket calendars, info on upcoming JaysCare events (the Ball, the Golf Tournament), a form to pre-order a year’s worth of giveaways (totes worth it - all the bobbleheads and other treats for $30). But best of all - the tickets and the promise of moar baseball!
Another new thing is the Fan Call with Alex Anthopolous at lunchtime tomorrow … "I want to invite you to join Alex Anthopoulos, General Manager of your Toronto Blue Jays, for our Live Fan Forum. This is a live interactive conference call with other Season Ticket Holders that will take place tomorrow, Thursday, March 22, between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm. You’ll have the opportunity to ask about the direction of the team, the current roster, future prospects, spring training, or anything else you’d like to hear more about.
We’ll be calling you at around 12:00 on March 22, so all you need to do is answer the phone and you’ll automatically be connected…”
Obvs this is my big chance to pitch Zombie Night at the ‘Dome!
Huggles to my ticket rep, Glenn Jackson, who is the best ticket rep a girl can have. The fact that he’s a total babe is just icing :D
Being a Jays fan is gonna be so much funner this year!
